UNM member plays Russian national anthem in Georgian Parliament

The opposition United National Movement (UNM) member Nona Mamulashvili played the Russian national anthem at today’s extraordinary session in Parliament.

UNM member played the Russian anthem while the Georgian Dream MP Mikheil Sarjveladze commented on the PM’s governmental performance report.

Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava dubbed Mamulashvili’s act as a disgrace.

“It is a shame. You played the anthem in the Plenary Hall where the Act of Georgia’s Independence was signed,” Kuchava stated.
