Unity-National Movement endorses Strong Georgia initiative for joint withdrawal of electoral lists
“We fully support the initiative put forth by the Strong Georgia coalition. Together, we must strive for new elections through collaborative efforts and opposition unity,” stated Levan Bezhashvili, a member of the Unity-National Movement coalition.
Bezhashvili reiterated the sentiments expressed in a Facebook post by Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Strong Georgia coalition, which urged the opposition to withdraw electoral lists through a coordinated approach involving the President.
“The Unity-National Movement has consistently championed strategic unity within the opposition, advocating for joint decision-making. We have backed the idea of unified electoral lists from the outset and now encourage the opposition to work together to facilitate the scheduling of new elections through a cohesive strategy,” he added.
