UNDP in Georgia condoles to Shovi landslide victims, hopes for swift, safe rescue of those in disaster zone
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia condoles to the families of Shovi landslide victims.
“Saddened by tragic events in the Racha region after the recent landslide. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families of those who lost their lives. Hoping for the swift and safe rescue of everyone still in the disaster zone,” it tweeted.
On August 3, a landslide ravaged the Oni Municipality’s Shovi resort. The death toll has risen to six.
