Ukrainian FM grateful to WTO Secretary-General for expelling Russia
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba expressed gratitude to Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), for his “principled decision” to expel Russia from this organization.
“Dear Zurab Pololikashvili, I am grateful for your principled stance, which enabled this decision,” Kuleba tweeted.
Ukrainian FM tweeted earlier: “Russia has been suspended from the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) at its first extraordinary session. Grateful to all members who backed this move. The only travel direction for Russian war criminals should be The Hague. Russia’s isolation will deepen with each day of its war on Ukraine.”
