Ukraine’s FM highlights strengthening of economic ties in meeting with Georgian FM Maka Botchorishvili
“On the margins of the EPC summit in Yerevan, I held a pull-aside meeting with my Georgian counterpart, Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha shared on social media.
Sybiha noted that the discussions focused particularly on expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.
“We exchanged views on a range of bilateral, regional, and international developments. We also discussed European integration and the EU’s important role in global affairs. We paid separate attention to expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. Agreed to stay in further contact,” Sybiha stated.
For your information, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the eighth summit of the European Political Community (EPC).
According to the Georgian government, the meeting was initiated by Ukraine, and the parties discussed the state of bilateral relations.
