Tatia Afriamashvili and Lika Lortkipanidze have been sentenced to 12 days of administrative detention for insulting Georgian Dream MP Mariam Lashkhi.

The incident took place on May 17, when the activists confronted Lashkhi at a café, shouting slogans such as “Freedom to the regime’s prisoners” and “Down with the Russian regime.”

Lashkhi, who was accompanied by her children, later filed a complaint against them. Following the incident, Lashkhi stated that the activists’ actions constituted a serious violation of several articles of the Children’s Rights Code. She described the confrontation as not only an attack on a public official but also on fundamental values.
