Officers from the Khelvachauri Regional Division of the Adjara Police Department, part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), have apprehended two foreign nationals, both born in 2004, on charges of illegal possession and sale of narcotics in a group.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized drugs from 12 different locations, along with 20 packages from another site, as well as electronic scales.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. If convicted, the detainees face a penalty of up to 20 years or even life imprisonment.
