The Minister of Interior of the Republic of Turkiye, Ali Yerlikaya, paid an official visit to Georgia, accompanied by a delegation.
He was welcomed by Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the two ministers laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, situated on the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The national anthems of both Georgia and Turkiye were played during the ceremony.
The event was attended by Mahmut Demirtaş, Chief of the Turkish National Police, as well as Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs from Georgia and other senior officials from both agencies.
