Turkey reports 1 003 new cases of coronavirus

Turkey recorded 1 003 new cases of coronavirus and 23 new deaths from COVID-19 in the latest 24 hours, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

The overall death toll has now reached 5 323 while the total number of people infected by the deadly virus stands at 210 965.

In the past 24 hours, 1 493 patients recovered from the virus, increasing the total number of cured patients to 191 883.
