Turkey changes regulations about crossing of border for Georgian citizens

Turkey made changes into regulations about crossing of border for Georgian citizens. The information was posted on the web-page of Turkey’s Consulate in Batumi, Adjara region.

Based on changes, starting January 1, 2018, crossing of border with duration of less than 1-day will be considered as 1 calendar day.

Georgian citizens have the right to stay on the territory of Turkey during 90 days in 180-day period. After 90 days, Georgian citizens will have to obtain residence permission.
