TSU security staff injured in a clash with students

Security staff of the Tbilisi Ivane Jvakhishvili State University (TSU) were injured in a clash with the students last evening. Four of them were taken to hospital.

TSU students and other youngsters intruded into the Rector’s Office by force. They physically assaulted Professors and the Dean.

The administration called on the students to return to the constructive dialog and resume the learning process.

The students are members of Fight for Education movement. They demand resignation of the TSU Rector and passing the exams remotely.
