The family and other contacts of a truck driver who contracted the virus in Russia tested negative for COVID-19, Neli Khizanishvili, the head of the Kakheti Department of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said.
Khizanishvili noted that despite the negative test results, truck driver’s contacts will undergo a two-week mandatory quarantine and then will be tested for the virus.
Currently, 114 people placed under quarantine in Kakheti.
