Strong wind leads to casualties in Kakheti

The unfavourable weather conditions led to a tragic incident in the Kakheti region.

In the village of Kistauri of Akhmet municipality, locals reported that a recent strong wind toppled the iron structure of a bus stop, fatally injuring a 79-year-old man who was cutting firewood in his yard.

The elderly man died on the spot. Police are mobilized to the scene.
