Traffic to be restricted on several streets in Tbilisi in connection with events dedicated to Georgia's Independence Day
In connection with the festive events to celebrate Georgia’s Independence Day, traffic will be restricted on several streets in Tbilisi.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, movement will be banned till 8 a.m. on May 27 at Rustaveli Avenue and Freedom Square. Traffic will be redirected to Gia Chanturia and Virsaladze Streets toward Nikoloz Baratashvili Street.
Until May 28, Atoneli Street and the adjacent territory of the Presidential Palace will be closed for traffic. Transport will move through Italy Street, Dry Bridge and through Viraladze and Chanturia Streets.
Movement is free across Zviad Gamsakhurdia Right Riverbank of the Mtkvari and Zaarbrukeni Square.
