Tourist season in the seaside Adjara region of Georgia will open on June 15, said Tornike Rizhvadze, Head of the Adjara government, during the governmental meeting on Friday.
According to Rizhvadze, tourism sector restoration speed is accelerated in the region. More than 60 flights are carried out per week at the Batumi International Airport. “This is a positive dynamics,” he claimed.
Head of the Adjara government further claimed that the tourist season had to open by observing recommendations and safety regulations of the epidemiologists.
