The electoral administration has completed its work on the unified voter list. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the total number of eligible voters for the October 26 elections stands at 3,508,294.

The CEC reports that 3,113,747 voters will participate in the elections using electronic technologies.

“This year, 135,922 young people are being allowed to participate in elections for the first time.

Furthermore, 64,238 voters have requested mobile ballot boxes from the election administration.

The number of voters registered in special lists for polling stations established in other countries is 95,910. In total, 3,111 polling stations will serve the voters.

In total, 3,044 polling stations have been opened in Georgia, including 13 exceptional cases. Of these, 12 are in penitentiary institutions, and one is in a mental health centre. As for polling stations abroad, 67 have been established in 53 cities across 42 countries.

Since the announcement of the elections, voters have verified their data in the unified voter list 1,311,773 times through the CEC website and mobile application and 29,277 times via quick payment terminals.

After receiving lists from all relevant agencies, the election administration processed this data and divided it according to electoral districts and precincts. Currently, the updated unified voter list is available to everyone on the official CEC website.

It is important to note that the public version of the voter lists is accessible to registered political parties and observer organizations as specified by electoral law. Voters can also review the public version of the list in person at polling stations.

Throughout the electoral year, four parties and two non-governmental organizations have borrowed the unified voter list from the election administration at various times, confirming that the accessibility of the voter list for verification purposes was in line with legislation and international standards.

As the public is aware, the formation of the unified voter list is carried out based on information provided by various agencies. We thank all administrative bodies for their close cooperation and coordination in this process. We also thank the voters for their active participation and contribution to verifying data and improving the lists. Elections are a common cause,” the statement concludes.
