Police seize large amount of narcotic drugs in Tbilisi, detain three foreign nationals
Officers of the Gldani-Nadzaladevi and Didube-Chuhgureti Main Divisions of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained three foreign nationals on charges of purchasing, keeping and selling a large amount of narcotic drugs.
Law enforcers confiscated 92 packs of narcotic drugs, including methadone, during a search of the temporary residential places of the detained individuals as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code, which provide for imprisonment for up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
