The 17th patient, who died from COVID-19 today, a 79-year-old woman, had other chronic diseases and was undergoing medical treatment at Mtskheta Hospital.

According to Lika Mumladze, Clinic Director of Mtskheta Hospital, the deceased woman belonged to the so-called Saburtalo cluster and was placed at the clinic on June 13. Her health condition has remained critical for several weeks.

The 17th patient died from novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia. Georgia reported 10 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected persons to 1155.
