Tengiz Tsertsvadze - Optimistic predictions are justified, peak did not turn out to be steep
Optimistic predictions expressed by experts are being justified, the peak did not turn out to be steep – Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases said.
According to Tsertsvadze, the number of newly infected patients with COVID-19 has been decreasing in the latest days. Tsersvadze reported that there are 626 infected persons in the country.
“Experts prognosticated that Georgia would have the peak of the pandemic at the end of April that would be followed by a plato and then a descend. Now we have the plato, a flat plato,” Tsertsvadze said.
