As Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani said the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe once again took a decision, which states that Committee does not consider it necessary to call on the Georgian government to ensure the former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili’s release.

“Once again, I ask everybody to look into the decision made by the Committee of Ministers yesterday, which states that the Committee of Ministers upheld the argument of the Georgian authorities and rejected the argument submitted by lawyer Oto Kakhidze,  who requested for Merabishvili’s release”, –  Tea Tsulukiani said.
