Tbilisi Sea area cleared of construction waste

Employees of Tbilservice Group LLC are removing construction and household waste from the area adjacent to the Tbilisi Sea. The cleanup involves using specialized equipment to dispose of large quantities of illegally dumped construction debris.

The Tbilisi Municipal Inspectorate will oversee the area and conduct regular monitoring.

Giorgi Papava, Director of Tbilservice Group, inspected the cleanup efforts.

“It is unacceptable to dispose of construction or inert waste on the streets, in the outskirts, or containers designated for household waste,” Papava stated. “The Tbilisi City Council has established clear waste management rules and user obligations; violations constitute an administrative offence and may result in fines.”
