Tbilisi mayoral candidate Kupradze claims to install video cameras at every polling station in Tbilisi
“We anticipate that these elections will not be genuinely fair. They are no longer fair when political leaders are behind bars. That is a simple fact; we will fight on all fronts, including installing video cameras at every polling station in Tbilisi, to record and expose any potential fraud that Bidzina Ivanishvili might attempt,” declared Irakli Kupradze, the candidate for Tbilisi Mayor from Lelo opposition party.
Kupradze emphasised their unwavering commitment to combating electoral fraud.
“What 20 pro-Western parties failed to do in 2024, whether it was installing cameras or demanding access to voter lists, we, a single political party, are now able to achieve. Video cameras will be installed at all polling stations across Tbilisi, providing a complete record of all entrants in case anyone attempts to access multiple polling stations or enter where they are not registered. We will maintain a clear record of every individual, and anyone found entering a polling station where they are not registered or have already cast their vote will face criminal prosecution. We are determined to fight against fraud without compromise, and I am confident we will succeed,” Kupradze affirmed.
