Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze addressed the ongoing developments in the Middle East during today’s session of the city government.

Kaladze emphasised the significance of peace, highlighting that hostilities threaten all nations within the region.

“I would like to respond to the current events in the Middle East. Hostilities pose a danger to every country in the region. Naturally, we cannot remain indifferent to these developments. I extend my condolences to the Iranian people and our friendly Jewish community, and I wish them peace. May our country and the entire world find peace, because without it, development, progress, and reconstruction are impossible. I believe we all agree that the pragmatic approach adopted by Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia is crucial. Without peace, we cannot achieve economic growth, progress, or reconstruct our nation. Rest assured, we will do everything in our power to uphold this policy and preserve peace,” said Kakha Kaladze.
