Tbilisi Mayor on Charlie Kirk's murder: How can one rejoice at anyone's death, even enemy?

“Regrettably, in Georgia, there were also many who displayed what can only be described as liberal fascism, posting unbelievable statements and making astonishing remarks yesterday,” declared Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze in response to comments from members of the Georgian opposition concerning the murder of Charlie Kirk, an American blogger with conservative views and a vocal supporter of Donald Trump.

Kaladze emphasised that no one should rejoice at the death of another person, regardless of their political stance.

“How can anyone take pleasure in the death of a person, no matter their political beliefs, even if they are an enemy? It is unthinkable to write such things about the deceased, as we saw yesterday,” the Tbilisi Mayor stated.
