A recreation park and sports facility are being constructed on #11 Svanidze Street as part of the Vake District Administration’s infrastructure projects. Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, alongside his Deputy Irakli Bendeliani, inspected the ongoing works.

Tbilisi Mayor recalled the problems facing locals following the June 13, 2015, tragedy, the damage inflicted, and the flooded territory.

He provided details of the project, saying that a mini football stadium, children’s playground and training zone would be arranged across 2,000 square meters of land. He said that the project would be completed in August.

The cost of the recreation area and sports field project is approximately 450,000 GEL.

Vake District Governor Levan Kipiani and Tbilisi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) single-mandate GD member Aleksandre Asatiani accompanied the Tbilisi Mayor and his Deputy.
