Tbilisi Mayor highlights importance of local elections, calls for greater good in cities and villages
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has highlighted the vital role of local government elections, stressing that they impact every municipality and village across the country.
Kaladze stated that the Georgian Dream is preparing for the upcoming elections and will soon unveil its projects for the next four years.
“We have been gearing up for the elections for some time. Local self-government elections are crucial; they touch every city, district, village, and family. Significant progress has been made in recent years. I could talk endlessly about Tbilisi and the projects carried out, but challenges remain. We are ready to share our vision, plans, and ideas for improving the country, cities, and villages over the next four years. We aim to implement even more impactful projects,” he said.
The Tbilisi Mayor wished success to all election candidates and emphasised that maintaining peace remains a top priority for the ruling team.
“To all candidates, I wish success. Georgian Dream is a political team committed to Georgian policy, safeguarding our statehood, and defending the interests of every Georgian. Society recognises this, especially amid regional and global challenges. Preserving peace is one of our greatest priorities. At the same time, we must develop the country and do more good for our cities and villages,” Kaladze concluded.
