Tbilisi Mayor engages with Hungarian ruling party president
Tbilisi Mayor and General Secretary of the Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia (GD) party, Kakha Kaladze, engaged with the President of the Hungarian ruling party Fidesz, Gábor Kubatov, during his official visit to Hungary.
During the meeting at the party office, the sides reviewed Georgia-Hungary relations, cooperation enhancement prospects, global challenges and and joint efforts in addressing those challenges.
Kakha Kaladze thanked the Hungarian government and its ruling team for unwavering support for Georgia.
“I had a very prolific visit to Budapest. Thanks for such cordial and friendly hosting. Our countries share many things in common, including a convergence of positions on recent developments. For both Georgia and Hungary, the core principle is national interests and commitment to fundamental values such as sovereignty and fighting for the truth,” Kaladze said.
Gábor Kubatov wishes the GD team success in defending the country’s interests and underscored that Georgia’s success benefited Hungary, which was welcoming.
Georgia’s Ambassador to Hungary Nikoloz Laliashvili and Georgian MPs attended the meeting.
