Tbilisi hosts Uzbekistan-Georgia Business Forum
The Uzbekistan-Georgia Business Forum is currently underway in Tbilisi. The event was officially opened by Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, alongside the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov.
The forum has drawn a substantial delegation from Uzbekistan, with around 70 companies representing key sectors including construction, logistics, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. They are joined by approximately 250 Georgian businesses eager to explore bilateral opportunities.
The schedule includes high-level presentations on the investment environments and potential of Georgia and Uzbekistan. The event will end with a B2B networking session where firms can have direct commercial conversations.
The forum is co-organised by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan.
