The event aims to present Georgia’s 2022-2024 national action plan for implementing the fourth UN Security Council resolution on women, peace, and security and to discuss the best strategies and methods for its effective implementation.
The action plan outlines the tasks and measures the government will take to strengthen the protection of the rights of conflict-affected women, identify needs, and ensure increased representation and effective participation of women and youth in peace processes, peace-building activities, and decision-making platforms.
