Tbilisi City Court discussing Mustafa Emre Cabuk’s extradition to Turkey
Tbilisi City Court is discussing extradition issue of Emre Cabuk, manager of Private Demirel College in Tbilisi to Turkey.
“Today I am expecting a judicial and not political decision and I am sure of this. Otherwise we will use our right and will apply to the Supreme Court and even the European Court of Human Rights if necessary,” said Tuba Cabuk wife of the school manager. “No fair trial can be held in Turkey, this case is politically motivated”, said the lawyer.
Cabuk’s lawyer Soso Baratashvili spoke about the political motives of the case and claimed that one of the managers of the Demirel College is being politically persecuted in Turkey.
Mustafa Emre Cabuk, manager of the Private Demirel College in Tbilisi, was arrested on May 24 at the request of the Turkish side which accuses the detainee of promoting the activities of Fethullah Gülen’s terrorist organization.
