Tamar Chugoshvili - Delay in presenting President's annual report is already beyond the law frames
Tamar Chugoshvili, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia does not exclude that President Giorgi Margvelashvili tries to select a favorable time for the election campaign and therefore he delays to present report in the Parliament.
Chugoshvili responded to the question of the First Channel about the President’s report.
According to the Vice-Speaker, the MPs have been waiting for the President’s report since the opening of the spring session.
“Unfortunately, no communication took place and we have no information when the President plans to come to the Parliament. I cannot tell you the reason for the delay. Maybe he is trying to choose a favorable time for the election campaign, but according to the law, he should present a report at the beginning of the session. I hope that the President will present an annual report to the Parliament of Georgia in time. I think, delay in presenting President’s annual report already went beyond the law frames,” – said Tamar Chugoshvili.
