Swedish Minister for EU Affairs: In Stockholm, we will hear how further reforms have gone in Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova

“We will hear an update from the European Commission on the reforms’ progress in Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova,” said Jessika Roswall, Swedish Minister for EU Affairs ahead of the informal meeting of European Affairs Ministers in Stockholm, Sweden.

“Today I invited my colleagues to discuss the future of the EU, how to prepare for its future enlargement and challenges. It is very important that we started this discussion. We will also have an oral update from the Commission on the reform progress when it comes to Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.

“We look forward to hearing how further the reforms have gone in all three countries. But it is also important that this is something that Sweden has supported in all ways. We will talk about not only these three countries but how the EU can prepare for the enlargement,” she said.
