The opposition Strategy Agmashenebeli will brief the public on its plans regarding upcoming local elections in the coming week, party member Sergo Chikhladze said on Sunday.
The party aims to get many votes so that the ruling Georgia Dream can not get 43%, Chikhladze noted.
Strategy Agmashenebeli will not partake in tomorrow’s plenary session over Election Inquiry Commission’s conclusion as the “party does not trust the commission,” he added.
Earlier this week, the Georgian Dream party called on opposition parties to attend the plenary session to discuss the conclusion of the Temporary Inquiry Commission on 2020 Parliamentary Elections.
Georgian Parliament set up a temporary commission of inquiry into the October parliamentary elections on February 17 this year.
The local elections are scheduled for October 2.
