State Minister calls on occupational regimes for opening of checkpoints
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equity calls on the occupational regimes for the opening of so-called border checkpoints to evade humanitarian crisis.
“Locals are in isolation. They lack products of vital importance including baby food that is disturbing,” Tsikhelashvili stated.
State Minister claimed that imposition of limitations on free movement with the alleged reason of pandemics had no justification since the situation was not epidemic in Georgia.
The checkpoints with the occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions have remained closed for already the 12th day.
