Starting from today, Tbilisi Metro will operate from 06:00 to 23:00. According to Tamaz Robakidze, a representative of Tbilisi Transport Company, the metro is in a difficult situation in terms of electric power supply and cables should be replaced.

“From July 1, 2019 to July 1, 2020, the Tbilisi metro will operate from 06:00 to 23:00”, – he said.

According to him, such a large project has not been implemented in Tbilisi Metro yet.

The Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze made a statement on the new schedule of the Metropolitan on May 5 at the capital government session.
