Starbucks Alshaya President thanks Georgian Ambassador to Kuwait for aiding entry into Georgia
Georgian Ambassador to Kuwait Noshrevan Lomtatidze held a meeting with Starbucks Alshaya President Saleh Alshaya on December 8.
Starbucks Alshaya President thanked the Georgian Ambassador for aiding the company’s entry into Georgia.
According to the Embassy of Georgia in Kuwait, the Alshaya Group Chairman decided to cooperate with the Georgian government during the April 13th meeting with Ambassador Lomtatidze.
The Starbucks Alshaya President received an instruction to dispatch a special group to Georgia. In June, the group, with the support of the Produce in Georgia state program, visited locations for the opening of Starbucks cafes. On July 7, the Alshaya Executive Board decided to enter the Georgian market, and the Georgian Ambassador was the first person notified about the decision.
Starbucks Alshaya President Saleh Alshaya positively assessed the activities and remarked that an official opening ceremony of Starbucks was scheduled at the beginning of 2026, the Embassy said.
