SSSG: Georgian citizen unlawfully detained at Zadiaantkari village released

A Georgian citizen, unlawfully detained at Zadiaantkari village, Kaspi Municipality, on December 23, 2025, has been released and brought to the territory controlled by the central government, the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) reported.

According to the SSSG, all relevant tools at the disposal of the central government were actively used in the process. The case was reviewed at the meeting of the Group on Incidents Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM).

“The central government, Security Service keeps on efforts to release all Georgian citizens unlawfully imprisoned in the occupied territories,” the SSSG said.
