In light of the current situation across the Middle East region and the travel disruptions caused by the closure of airspace in several countries, the Georgian government has announced the organisation of a special flight for Georgian citizens unable to return to Georgia via regular routes.

The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the flight from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Tbilisi, Georgia, will depart at 19:00 local time.

“Georgian citizens wishing to return to Georgia are advised to contact the relevant Georgian embassies,” the ministry added.
