Speaker: There will be no term South Ossetia in Georgian legal, political space
“There will be no term South Ossetia in the Georgian legal and political space,” said Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
According to the Speaker, foreign-funded NGOs that are hired from abroad have recently speculated on this issue.
“From today’s perspective, including when we observe various processes in the region, including history, this is obvious. The last days confirmed this. There are a few objections from other parties, including the radical opposition. Who spoke up? NGOs hired from abroad. Two or three NGOs are saying, ‘Why not South Ossetia,’ which is likely directives received from abroad. The reactions demonstrate that the government should have been strong to mute them over this issue,” he said.
