Speaker Papuashvili: Hate speech is only weapon left for foreign forces to destabilise Georgia, and this weapon must be neutralised
“The only weapon foreign forces have left to destabilise Georgia is hate speech and animosity; this is exactly what the entire so-called European movement is built upon,” stated the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.
According to him, this weapon of hatred and violence must be neutralised.
“An important process is underway. This will be a turning point in protecting society from radicalism, polarisation, and attempts to divide us. We can see that the only weapon left for foreign forces to destabilise Georgia is hate speech and animosity. Unfortunately, this is what the entire so-called European movement is built upon: hatred and animosity. Brussels and its representatives in Georgia have brought the idea of the European Union as a peace project to this point, because today, it is associated with hatred and violence. This weapon of hatred and violence must be neutralised. Hopefully, this department will be active. It is good that it is working vigorously. It is important to strip this weapon of hatred away from the so-called pro-European forces,” Shalva Papuashvili said.
