“October 4 marked a division between Georgian and non-Georgian, heroes and anti-heroes, love for the homeland and hostility towards it,” writes Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, on social media.
Shalva Papuashvili also expresses his gratitude to the staff of the State Special Protection Service, recognising their bravery in safeguarding the Presidential Palace of Georgia from attack on October 4.
“Thanks to this courageous young man and every member of the State Special Protection Service who protected the Presidential Palace from an attack by external perpetrators on October 4,” adds Papuashvili.
