Speaker: Kirk’s atrocious murder is direct and unequivocal consequence of rhetoric borne out of hatred

“Charlie Kirk’s atrocious murder is a direct and unequivocal consequence of the rhetoric borne out of hatred, cancel culture, and intolerance. I condemn this unthinkable and brutal act of hateful violence,” Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili shared on his social network.

Papuashvili extended his condolences to the American people and to the family and loved ones of Charlie Kirk.

“Words may have grave consequences, and unthoughtful support for hateful rhetoric may reverberate in unpredictable ways. Our numerous calls and warnings to some foreign officials to abstain from supporting violent language, ostensibly in the name of the European Union, liberalism, and democracy, are directed towards forestalling such unpredictably tragic events in Georgia, too,” Shalva Papuashvili wrote.

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was shot at a Utah Valley University event, has died. According to reports, Kirk was giving a presentation when he was shot. He was taken to the hospital, where attempts to save his life were unsuccessful. Kirk, who was considered an ally of Donald Trump, was the leader of a conservative student movement.
