Speaker: Four years after start of war, opposition speaks about peace, they are late, we preserved peace

“Four years after the start of the war, the opposition is talking about peace, which is what the Georgian Dream has been accentuating since February 2022,” wrote Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili in his Facebook post, echoing the political debates on Rustavi 2 TV.

“They are late, we preserved peace, and now stress national interests, while the opposition still urges us to stand unsteadily before Brussels. Guess what will happen after four years …” he wrote.
