Speaker: Failure to condemn hatred disguised in the name of Europe instigates pro-European violence
“Failure to condemn hatred disguised in the name of Europe instigates pro-European violence,” wrote Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Facebook.
According to the Speaker, “we should not expect condemnation of Aleko Elisashvili’s action.”
“Failure to condemn hatred disguised in the name of Europe instigates pro-European violence; Failure to condemn violence disguised in the name of Europe produces pro-European extremism; Failure to condemn extremism disguised in the name of Europe incites pro-European terrorism. Brussels passed this path so quickly that we should not expect condemnation this time, either,” Papuashvili wrote.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) stated earlier that Aleko Elisashvili, one of the leaders of the Lelo-Strong Georgia coalition, was arrested after attempting to set fire to the Tbilisi City Court registry building at dawn today.
