Six more individuals detained in connection with the October 4 case and an attempt to intrude into the Presidential Palace have been released from custody after pleading guilty and securing plea bargains with the prosecution.

The Prosecutor’s Office finalised the plea agreements with a three-year suspended sentence in the case of Giorgi Korkia, Lasha Ivanidze, Khvicha Gogokhia, Giorgi Rurua, Levan Jikia and Sergo Megrelishvili.

The individuals detained in the October 4 case face charges under several articles of the criminal code. Twenty-two defendants expressed a willingness to enter into a plea bargain; 16 of them have already been released directly from the courtroom, while the remaining six are expected to be released by the end of the day.
