School textbook distribution to be completed by September 10

The phased distribution of school textbooks to public schools and educational resource centers under the 2026 consolidated tender initiated by Educational Resources LLC will be completed no later than September 10, according to Educational Resources.

The printing and distribution process covers 32 educational publications and a total of 1,533,339 copies. Of these, 1,340,044 copies will be delivered directly to public schools.

In the 2026–2027 academic year, students in grades I, V, VII, IX and X will study with new textbooks.

“The process of printing and publishing new school textbooks for Georgia’s public schools is in an active phase. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the textbook update covers grades I, V, VII, IX and X.

“Within the framework of the 2026 consolidated tender initiated by Educational Resources LLC, the phased delivery of school textbooks to public schools and educational resource centers will be completed no later than September 10.

“The printing and distribution process covers 32 educational publications and a total of 1,533,339 copies. Of these, 1,340,044 copies will be delivered directly to public schools.

“School textbooks will be provided free of charge to:

Students and teachers of public schools;
Students of private schools who are registered in the Unified Database of Socially Vulnerable Families and whose families have a rating score below 70,001 points as of March 1 of each year;
Students and teachers of schools located in the occupied territories of the Akhalgori municipality where instruction is provided in the Georgian language;
Students and teachers of nine schools in the occupied Gali district bordering the Enguri River, as well as first-grade students and teachers of schools restored and operating within the pre-war boundaries of the occupied Gali district. They will receive Georgian Language and Literature, Georgian History and Georgian Geography textbooks for grades II–XI;
First-grade students of private schools — only the *Dedaena* (Mother Tongue) textbook;
Students of private schools who are children of servicemen killed in the August 2008 war;
Legal entities under public law within the Ministry and the Ministry’s system, upon request.

“Educational Resources LLC will begin the phased delivery of school textbooks to schools across the country in the coming days,” the company said.
