Salome Zurabishvili to Diaspora representatives: We have common future, we can do joint work for the state

It is very important that the Day of Diaspora is the next feast after Independence Day, and we are celebrating both of them together. – Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said at the annual forum dedicated to the Day of Diaspora.

The President of Georgia spoke about the reasons for the emigration of citizens from the country and noted that the main reason is socio-economic.

“In today’s global world, residential location does not have much importance. There are no walls and we can do a joint job for our state. I think this is the most important” – President said.
