Salome Zurabishvili hosted NATO Secretary General at Atoneli Residence
The president of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili has held a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today.
The president hosted NATO Secretary General at Atoneli Residence in Tbilisi. Jens Stoltenberg is the first high-ranking guest who arrived at the new presidential residence.
Salome Zurabishvili met Jens Stoltenberg in an extended format. Ambassador of Georgia to NATO Alexander Maisuradze, Chief of Armed Forces Vladimer Chachibaia, Minister of Defence Levan Izoria, Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Head of the President’s Administration Lasha Zhvania and Deputy Head of Administration Ketevan Makharashvili attended the meeting.
On the part of NATO, the meeting was attended by the Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai, the head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia Rosaaria Puglis, Euro Atlantic and World Partnership Officer of NATO Department of Political Affairs and Security Policy Stefan Elgers, Deputy Director of Office of Secretary General Krisztian Meszaros and NATO Deputy Spokesperson Piers Cazalet.
