Rustavi Mayor accuses City Assembly's majority of hindering investments
Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze accused the opposition majority in the Sakrebulo (City Assembly) of delaying the discussion of the issues the town considers vital and hampers the investment process worth approximately GEL 60 million needed to build several blocks of apartments and business projects.
Nino Latsabidze called on the Sakrebulo Chair, a representative of the For Georgia party, to convene an extraordinary sitting. She also urged the opposition to define priorities correctly and put Rustavi’s interests above political ambitions.
“I urge the chairperson to use his discrete power and stand on the side of Rustavi residents and the city. Otherwise, his inaction would be perceived as betrayal,” Latsabidze said.
