Rustaveli Avenue's Burchuladze suggests changing wording; calls for tender wash off of GD on October 4

“I propose changing the wording, for example, from ‘peaceful overthrow.’ We should replace ‘peaceful’ with ‘tender,’ and ‘overthrow’ with ‘wash away.’ I call on everyone to tenderly wash away the Georgian Dream on October 4,” declared Paata Burchuladze, leader of the Rustaveli Avenue movement.

He added that the Georgian Dream fears the people.

“I suggest we alter the phrase from ‘peaceful overthrow’ to ‘tender wash away.’ I call on everyone to tenderly wash away the Georgian Dream on October 4. I believe this would be a very positive step.

If they have any objections, we will ask them to voice them, and we will reconsider this wording, too. They are afraid of the people, not the numbers; they are afraid of people and want to intimidate us: ‘Here they are, I’ll catch you.’ But no matter how many they try to detain, this game of ‘catch and release’ is over,” he asserted.
